News Highlights 2020-2021

Tom Wickham Basset and Cate James-Hodges presented at a main Stroud District Council meeting. Tom presented to advocate Stroud District Youth Council’s views on the Equality Diversity and Inclusion policy that was then passed. Cate presented to advocate the Youth Council’s views on the 2030 strategy.

As part of Stroud District Youth Council’s manifesto commitment titled ‘Improving sexual health services’, the council re-launched their social media campaign in line with National Condom Day.

Due to Covid-19, members moved online for main meetings as well as youth forums.

Stroud District Youth Council worked with Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership and designed a survey to identify some of the barriers young people face towards accessing train transport.
